Judith Kaye Dallas
Judith Kaye Dallas (Weiland) was born in Pocatello, Idaho and lived in Dayton, Ohio.
She married Ron Dallas in 1958. They met at the Air Force base after he followed her ponytail down the hallway, enchanted with her! While she did headstands on the lawn to get his attention. Obviously meant for each other! After their first-born Cheri arrived, they were off to California, where they lived for several years. An addition to their family, brought them their son John during their time there. Judy gathered friends where ever she lived and went. She never met a stranger! She loved everyone and everyone loved her.
After moving to Ocean Shores, she continued to make friends in every corner of our little town. She joined several groups and organizations. A strong Red Hatter, A Juliette Single women, An ACT’s Volunteer at the Ocean Shores visitor center. She attended Chapel by the Sea in Moclips. Played Bingo, Pokeno and several other games with her closest friends, enjoying lunch at Cruisers and Viet Ho (her 2 favorites). Enjoying time crafting was another favorite past time. As a Widow Elks member, you could always find her enjoying the Elks members company at functions or dinners. She loved her rituals with her daughter enjoying TV in the evening. Judy’s love of life, friends and family were her best attribute. She will be dearly missed by all.
She is survived by her daughter, Cheri Tacy; granddaughter, Tristin (Matt) Potter; grandson, John Purves; great-grandson, Treven Purves; her son, John (Jeannie) Dallas and granddaughters, Kristine Dallas and Kimberly Malady.
A Celebration of Life will be on Feb. 4 at 4 p.m. at the Elks Lodge, 199 Ocean shores Blvd, Ocean Shores, Wash. A potluck is planned, so please bring a dish, bring a story and enjoy an evening of sharing Judy’s memories.
