NCN911: Missing woman found safe

An Ocean Shores woman believed to have been missing from the area has been located, Ocean Shores Police reported late Tuesday morning.

Police had issued a missing person alert earlier Tuesday after the 55-year old woman was last seen about a week ago. “Several witnesses say they have seen her more recently than that, but those reports have not been verified and are not considered completely reliable. Some of those reports say she was seen in the area of the homeless camp on the Wishkah River in Aberdeen,” Sgt. David McManus said in a news release.

At about 11 a.m., McManus reported she “has been found safe and fine.”
