The National Weather Service in Seattle has issued a wind advisory for Saturday from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m., with Ocean Shores among the affected locations noted in the advisory.

Winds are coming in from the southwest to the west at a predicted 20-35 mph, with gusts from 50-55 mph, the Weather Service warned.

Other affected areas listed were: Westport, Aberdeen, Pacific Beach, Kalaloch, La Push, Ozette, Neah Bay.

The Weather Service said scattered power outages and minor tree damage can be expected.

“Winds this strong can make driving difficult, especially for high profile vehicles. Use extra caution,” the Weather Service said.
