The Tap Room in downtown Aberdeen has been around since 2013, but if you haven’t been inside in a while, it’s time for another look!

Bryce Romero bought the bar in 2019 and broadened the scope of the cozy space, bringing in a range of drinks, food and entertainment to please the palates of more than just beer-drinkers.

“We’re a full-service bar now instead of just a tap room,” he says.

With a number of speciality options already in the neighborhood, customers appreciate The Tap Room’s range — the comfortable space offers a little bit of everything.

“It’s a good place to meet and gather, to catch up with each other and have a couple drinks,” Romero says, “We want people to know that when they come to The Tap Room someone will be here to take care of them.”

Hand-crafted, carefully curated

Romero and his bartenders are quickly making a name for themselves with their carefully crafted, handmade cocktails. In the mood for a Lemon Drop, Mojito or Margarita? The Tap Room makes their cocktails from scratch with fresh ingredients and no pre-made mixes.

And for those hoping to become wine connoisseurs, Romero is happy to offer recommendations.

The Tap Room still has beer too, with a great rotating selection of craft beers and domestic lagers to please any palate. Romero brings in IPAs, stouts and pilsners from microbreweries across the U.S.A., and keeps Coors and Ranier on tap for those who want a break from heavy craft brews.

And when you need a bite to eat, savor selections ranging from pizza and wings to salads and sandwiches. Romero keeps the menu small, but makes sure to serve up tasty food when your stomach’s growling.
