Fourth graders did a “mail call,” delivering letters of appreciation they had written to several vets, including Ocean Shores resident and World War II veteran Arnold Samuels.
The assembly concluded with the presentation of a banner from Ocean Shores Elementary to the local VFW post, thanking veterans for their service.
