This Christmas, the North Coast News is seeking out our local Santa of sorts — the as-yet anonymous person or people who decorate that lone living Christmas tree along State Route 109 between Hoqiuam and Ocean Shores.
A perceptive reader, Pam Nachbor, wrote to the NCN today after seeing the tree was decorated again this year in all its splendor this morning: “I would like to give credit to whomever gives me my smiles during the day.
“Last year was my first Holiday season living in Ocean Shores, when I noticed (the tree). The day after Thanksgiving, it was there again, on Highway 109, west side between milepost 11 and 10. It made me smile. It’s simple, it’s Christmas, and for me, Thank you.”
If you have information about the decorator of the tree, we would appreciate sharing the full story with our readers. Please contact by email at editor@northcoastnews.com, or call and leave a message at (360) 289-3968.
