Quinault Beach Resort and Casino will literally be cooking this weekend — cooking the Blues and the famous Blueback Salmon served in the tradition of the Quinault Indian Nation.
The prized and legenday fish of the Quinault River is celebrated at the annual Cookin’ the Blues festival with a weekend full of free music and a dinner full of culinary delights, with the Land & Sea Buffet ($29.95) and Tradtional Salmon Dinner ($17) on Saturday from 4-8 p.m.
Up the beach at Seabrook, the weekend gets a bit more athletic with the second annual l Beach Volleyball Tournament hosted by the Alki Volleyball Association on June 16-18.
