Quilt of the Month

Karen Hogan has two quilts on display: A mini-quilt representing the colors, flags, sea and land for all of our service troops; and a stepping stone quilt garden. A challenge quilt using one piece of material to demonstrate the techniques of quilting, points, flying geese, diamonds and triangles. Quilt display rod donated by Cheryl from the Beach Tyme Quilt Shop in Ocean Shores. Quilt of the Month Show is being coordinated by the Sea Pal Quilters.

Story Time

Saturdays April 15, 22, 29, 10-10:40 a.m. Books, rhymes, interactive stories, songs and fun, ages birth-5. Presented by Niko.

Brick Fun!

Thursday April 13, 3:30-4:30 p.m. A program intended to encourage kid’s imaginations. Build houses, cars, trees and anything you can dream of with colorful bricks.

Book Group

Saturday April 15, 3 p.m. The book discussed will be “The Shallows: What the Internet Is Doing To Our Brains,” by Nicholas Carr.

Video Game Club

Tuesday April 18, 2:45-4:45 p.m. Come hang out after school and play video games. Ages 13 and up welcome.

Family Movie Day

Saturday April 22, 2:30–4 p.m. “Sing!” Movies are shown on the Library’s “big” screen. This fun event is free and open to movie lovers of all ages.

Hypnosis For Healthy Weight Loss

Monday April 24. 3 p.m. Each month we discuss healthy weight loss and how hypnosis works. Michael Gershman RN, BCH is a state certified counselor and an NGH board certified hypnotherapist with a specialty area in medical hypnosis.
