Holiday Book Giveaway Party! Dec. 21, 11 a.m. (Giveaway begins Dec. 17)

All local North Beach children ages through sixth grade are invited to come and make fun holiday crafts, write letters to Santa and get their free wrapped book from the elves. Holiday Book Giveaway books will also be available for children on Tuesday, Dec. 17 through Friday, Dec. 20 and Tuesday, Dec. 24; hours Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday will be 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., and Friday and Saturday will be 11 a.m. until 5 p.m..

TEEN

Teen Zone! Saturday, Jan. 4, 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. The meeting room is a “teen zone” for teens grades seven through12. They are invited to hangout and enjoy snacks in a safe, comfortable environment. The Teen Zone is sponsored by the Friends of the Library.

Teen Advisory Board: Saturday, Jan. 4 — 3 to 4 p.m. The Teen Advisory Board is made up of local seventh- through 12th-grade students who want to be active in their community and make a difference. The TAB helps plan teen programs, pick new teen materials, advocate for young adults and are supported by Ocean Shores Friends of the Library
