Lady Washington coming home for Haunted Seaport celebration

The Haunted Seaport event is coming back to the Grays Harbor Historical Seaport starting Friday, Oct. 18, and with it the tall ship Lady Washington.

The vessel, which has been featured in movies including Pirates of the Caribbean and Star Trek: Generations, will arrive at Seaport Landing, 500 North Custer Street in south Aberdeen, Oct. 18 and will be available for vessel tours by donation and public sails for ticketed guests starting Oct. 19, according to the Seaport.

The Haunted Seaport event includes an all-ages dance with DJ Nathan Kennedy Friday, Oct. 18, 6:30-9:30 p.m. There will be games, pizza and refreshments. Admission is $5 and there will be prizes for the best Halloween costume in various age groups.

The Olson Band will perform at the Seaport Saturday, Oct. 19, from 7-10 p.m. There will be a beer and wine garden, food vendors and family games and activities. Admission to Saturday’s activities is $10 and includes the show, a youth ticket, entry to the haunted tour and one food or drink ticket. The Lady Washington will be available for an adventure sail from 2-4 p.m.; tickets are $49-$59.
