With 41,800 ballots mailed out to voters of Grays Harbor for this general election, there are just five days remaining to mail them in or drop them off at one of the local election boxes.
You will not need a stamp for this election: All the election ballots mailed out for this general election will have prepaid postage.
This general election includes federal, state, countywide elected offices and statewide ballot measures on the ballot.
Ballots will be received until 8 p.m. on Nov. 6 at the election drop boxes and drop site.
Mailed ballots must be postmarked on or before Nov. 6. Since post offices pick up times vary, dropping your ballot in the mail election day, or at the post office on election day does not guarantee it will be postmarked in time. Drop off your ballot early or if you go into the Post Office, have them time stamp it.
Some changes in the ballot look: No more squares. This is the second election the Elections Department with be using an updated new tabulation and ballot design system called Clear Ballot. The new ballots will no longer have the square to shade in but will have an oval. Otherwise the ballot will look the same.
For North Beach voters, there is a drop box at the Ocean Shores Convention Center in the parking lot, and also a drop box at the YMCA parking lot in Hoquiam.
