Levee Lumber in Ocean Shores has been acquired by Arrow Lumber & Hardware, which now will have seven Western Washington stores.
Arrow spokesman Cliff Thompson in a statement said the company is “an extraordinary hometown lumber chain.”
“We are extremely blessed to have the success that we have had in our history, successfully beating the recession and continuing to grow,” said Barney Wagner, Arrow’s Founder. “We have a really close group of employees from top to bottom and the family atmosphere within our company is what brings us our success. This opportunity to grow our business even more is a very proud moment in Arrow Lumber’s history.”
The transition in Ocean Shores now appears to be complete. The location on Pt. Brown Avenue officially opened as Arrow Lumber on Aug. 23, with a grand opening scheduled later in September. Arrow did not purchase the Hoquiam Levee facility.
”With this process finalized, Arrow Lumber will be able to increase their footprint in the Pacific Northwest market and help to better serve the Pacific Coast in Washington State,” according to the acquisition statement.
“Arrow Lumber prides themselves on customer service and serving the communities in which they operate. Helping with the local food banks, being in parades, customer appreciation day events and free Santa pictures around Christmas time. Arrow Lumber & Hardware is a true hometown Lumber chain, that puts customers first!”
